Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity of McMinn County began in 1994 as a grassroots effort. Our mission is the same as Habitat International’s, and our organization has helped many families build or improve the their homes since its founding. Habitat homeowners help build their home alongside volunteers and skilled professionals, and homeowners pay affordable mortgages in exchange for their dedication.
